neighborhood bakeshop where all of the products are made in small batches
by hand,  with an emphasis on quality, local ingredients.
The bakery is recognized nationally and locally for its down-home decadent
desserts and delicious rustic breads. Cheryl and Griffith are passionate about
sharing their gifts with friends and family and recognize the importance of 
community building and customer service. 

The bakery’s warm and friendly atmosphere is a testament to that dedication. 
Cheryl is a self-taught baker, guided as a young girl by her mother JanieQ and
Grandmother Hanna.  Her firsthand knowledge of their tried-and-true secrets 
adds a treasured homespun quality to Cheryl’s desserts. That, as well as fine
ingredients and plenty of butter!  Cheryl’s enthusiasm for enriching lives through
the time-honored art of baking is one of her most fetching qualities.   

Griffith brings a creative and savory mix of savory tarts, lunch and rustic breads
to the bakery: Pugliese, filone, ciabatta,  and baguettes.  These breads, as
well as the weekly lunch fare, comprise his expertise.  
His interest in baking was piqued as a child by the magical sour dough starter his 
mother kept in the family kitchen.  Griffith’s lunch creations are of equal simplicity,
full of flavor and heartiness. Together they comprise a sweet and savory
tour de force!
